1 Samuel 12:19

SV	En al het volk zeide tot Samuel: Bid voor uw knechten den HEERE, uw God, dat wij niet sterven; want boven al onze zonden hebben wij dit kwaad daartoe gedaan, dat wij voor ons een koning begeerd hebben.
WLC	וַיֹּאמְר֨וּ כָל־הָעָ֜ם אֶל־שְׁמוּאֵ֗ל הִתְפַּלֵּ֧ל בְּעַד־עֲבָדֶ֛יךָ אֶל־יְהוָ֥ה אֱלֹהֶ֖יךָ וְאַל־נָמ֑וּת כִּֽי־יָסַ֤פְנוּ עַל־כָּל־חַטֹּאתֵ֙ינוּ֙ רָעָ֔ה לִשְׁאֹ֥ל לָ֖נוּ מֶֽלֶךְ׃ ס
Trans.	wayyō’mərû ḵāl-hā‘ām ’el-šəmû’ēl hiṯəpallēl bə‘aḏ-‘ăḇāḏeyḵā ’el-JHWH ’ĕlōheyḵā wə’al-nāmûṯ kî-yāsafənû ‘al-kāl-ḥaṭṭō’ṯênû rā‘â lišə’ōl lānû meleḵə:

AC	יט ויאמרו כל העם אל שמואל התפלל בעד עבדיך אל יהוה אלהיך--ואל נמות כי יספנו על כל חטאתינו רעה לשאל לנו מלך
ASV	And all the people said unto Samuel, Pray for thy servants unto Jehovah thy God, that we die not; for we have added unto all our sins [this] evil, to ask us a king.
BE	And all the people said to Samuel, Make prayer for us to the Lord your God so that death may not overtake us: for in addition to all our sins we have done this evil, in desiring a king.
Darby	And all the people said to Samuel, Pray to Jehovah thy God for thy servants, that we die not; for we have added to all our sins the wickedness to ask for ourselves a king.
ELB05	Und das ganze Volk sprach zu Samuel: Bitte Jehova, deinen Gott, für deine Knechte, daß wir nicht sterben! Denn zu allen unseren Sünden haben wir das Böse hinzugefügt, einen König für uns zu begehren.
LSG	Et tout le peuple dit à Samuel: Prie l'Eternel, ton Dieu, pour tes serviteurs, afin que nous ne mourions pas; car nous avons ajouté à tous nos péchés le tort de demander pour nous un roi.
Sch	Und das ganze Volk sprach zu Samuel: Bitte den HERRN, deinen Gott, für deine Knechte, daß wir nicht sterben; denn zu allen unsern Sünden haben wir noch das Übel hinzugefügt, daß wir für uns einen König begehrten!
